That’s one thing officially on my Christmas List! British Olympic Diver Tom Daley officially comes out on his YouTube Channel saying “Come Spring this year, my life changed massively when I met someone and they made me feel so happy, so safe, and everything just feels great… And well that someone is a guy” Tom says he “still fancies girls” but for now he is dating the luckiest bloke on the planet!
The Good Doctor doesn’t care who you “dance” with! Two of his trusted Companions are among the most popular GLBT Characters on the tele! Not to mention the good Doctor himself. Homophobia is so 20th Century. Thank you for opening minds and showing how gay is ok! Happy 50th Anniversary Doctor Who!!!
Happy Veterans Day! To all who have served and continue serving thank you!!! Special shoutout to our LGBT servicemen and women who served under Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell. Risking your life for a Nation that upheld discriminatory polices, trusting that one day that Justice will be served for all Patriots is Bravery at its finest. A big thank you to all the military family and friends who stand by our soldiers as they protect our Freedoms!

British Rowing Team Strips Down To End Homophobia (Again)
For the fifth year in a row, the University of Warwick Rowing Club posed for a calendar in their birthday suits to benefit their anti-homophobic charity called Sports Allies. Initially meant to be sold on campus, the calendars have gone international and has even sold out within four days in forty countries. “The rowers are predominantly straight men who have welcomed and embraced the fantastic support they have had from the gay community for their fundraising efforts,” Warwick explains. “Sports Allies is their way of honouring that support and giving something back.” Here’s hoping the USA Mens Swimming Team follows suit or rather suitless.
In an upcoming romantic comedy film, that originally was supposed to star John Hamm and Melissa McCarthy, “Bridesmaids” director Paul Feig has casted new SNL star, John Milhiser as the lead role. Instead of a leading lady there will be two leading men in one of the first ever major films starring a gay couple. According to numerous online news-sites, Paul Feig’s “pie in the sky choice” would be the legendary actor and definitely crowd favourite Channing Tatum.
The premise of the film would be that an average looking man doesn’t understand why a very attractive looking man would want to date him. This almost sounds like Rachel McAdams wondering why Channing Tatum is her husband after she woke up from a coma. Some things in life you just have to accept!
Here’s hoping Internet buzz and fan enthusiasm will see Paul Feig’s dream and surely the dream of countless others come true.
Andrew Johnson is a cop. Andrew Johnson is also gay. Andrew Johnson is a gay cop who wanted to march in a Gay Pride Parade in his uniform. But his force told him no. They said it would “discredit” them. Don’t get upset, though. The outcome of this story is a happy one. Celebrity lawyer Gloria Allred got involved, and long story short, Andrew marched loud, proud, and uniform-clad.
Small steps matter. Every step matters.
